A free volume booster for Chrome that gets louder without the crackle, remembers your level for every site, and even works on browser games.
No account. No ads. No tracking. Every feature is free.
Try it: drag the slider. This is what the popup looks like.
Every feature here came from a real user telling us what was missing.
Drag the slider or tap a preset. Independent of your system volume, so quiet videos finally get loud enough.
Above 400% a built-in compressor switches on and catches loud peaks before they crackle. Louder, not harsher.
Save a level once and it comes back automatically every visit. No popup needed.
Flip the popup to see every site you've saved, open one, or remove it in a click.
Most boosters do nothing on games. Ours hooks the game's own audio engine, including games in embedded players.
On streaming sites your level stays put when the next episode starts. No re-saving every time.
Every tab has its own level. Mute one without touching the rest, and jump to any tab playing audio.
Alt+Shift+↑/↓ for volume, Alt+Shift+M to mute. Remap them anytime.
Available in 24 languages, from Español and Português to 日本語 and हिन्दी.
A lot of volume boosters give you a taste for free, then lock the features you actually want behind a payment. We don't.

One click from the Chrome Web Store. Pin it to your toolbar so it's always there.
Drag the slider, tap a preset, or use Alt+Shift+↑ without opening anything.
Hit "Save for site" and that level comes back every time you visit. Set it once, forget it.
We don't guess what to build. People tell us what's broken, and we fix it.
"Let us tell you what to build next."
A quick, optional question in the popup so regular users can shape what comes next.
"I can't see which sites I've saved."
The Saved Sites manager: every saved site in one list, open or remove in a click.
"I have to re-save my volume every episode."
Your level now sticks when a streaming site moves to the next episode.
"Works on video, but not on browser games."
Boosting now works on HTML5, WebGL and Flash (Ruffle) games, even in embedded players.
"Spent some time to find volume booster that remembers my choice and came across your extension. So good so far!"Chrome Web Store review
Volume Master Remastered needs permission to run on every site, because that's the only way to reach each page's audio. We use it for exactly that, and nothing else.
Yes. Every feature is free, with no ads, no account and no trial. There's no paywall in front of 1000% boost or per-site memory.
To boost a page's audio, the extension has to connect to that page's audio pipeline, and you might want to boost any site. It doesn't read the page's content, and it doesn't collect or send any data.
Smart Boost keeps loud peaks from crackling, which is easier on speakers. Very high levels can still be uncomfortably loud, especially on headphones, so turn it up gradually and take it easy on your ears.
Set the level you like, then tap "Save for site". Next time you open that site, the level comes back by itself. Manage all saved sites from the list icon in the popup.
Yes. It works on video and audio players, players embedded in other pages, and browser games built with HTML5, WebGL, Unity or Flash (via Ruffle).
Yes: Alt+Shift+↑ and Alt+Shift+↓ change the volume by 10%, and Alt+Shift+M mutes. You can change them at chrome://extensions/shortcuts.
